Community & District Response Fund

About Community & District Response Fund

In continuation of our commitment to build partnerships to amplify the work of the district, this Community Response Fund is established to collect and distribute funds in times of need. Funds raised through this portal will be overseen by a committee of Northshore Schools Foundation members and members of the Northshore School District Safety & Security Committee. Funding use will be reported back to donors for full transparency.
Currently, our state and our District have been activated in response to (COVID-19) the coronavirus, which is being transmitted in our community. Funds raised in this period will be designated in four major criteria of Districtwide response.
• Scholarships for childcare for families who don’t have other resources
• Cleaning and sanitizing physical spaces
• Staff training, including but not limited to appropriate health practices and the mobilization of a plan to provide virtual education opportunities
• Access to technology and internet as needed beyond the district budget
All donations will be designated for response by our District to a community-wide crisis. Should you have a particular need that you would like to support, please contact Carmin Dalziel Executive Director, Northshore Schools Foundation at carmin@nsdfoundation.org
